*Brand Spotlight* Colourpop Cosmetics

Today we are going to chat all about Colourpop Cosmetics! If you aren't familiar with the brand, they started in 2014 and have quickly made a name for themselves in the beauty world. The goal of the brand is to create trendy and good quality products without the huge price tag. Sounds great, right?! Well, I'm going to let you know everything I love from their product line as well as some items that don't get my seal of approval. Let's start with the good stuff!

Lippie Stix: I loooooove these. I believe they come in a few different finishes (matte, satin & glossy) and I love them all. They are so comfortable on your lips and not drying at all. Huge bonus for me because I cannot handle having dry lips. The best part... they are $5.00. FIVE. DOLLARS. Go get some NOW!

Brow Pencils: These are such a great buy. I find them to be a great dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz. They are softer than the Anastasia pencils but I actually prefer it that way. Price tag: $5.00

Ultra Matte Lips: If liquid lipsticks are your thing then these are great. I'm not a huge fan just because as I said before, I can't handle my lips feeling dry! This isn't a particularly drying formula, its just the nature of this type of product. That being said, I own plenty of these because you really can't beat the color selection. There is basically every color you could ever imagine. So if you love a matte lip, these are for you. Price tag: $6.00

Ultra Satin Lips: These are basically a regular lipstick in liquid form. They are not going to be transfer proof like the Ultra Mattes but they do have a touch more staying power than the Lippie Stix. If you aren't a fan of touching up your lips, this may be a good option for you. I would say I'm indifferent on these. Price tag: $6.00

Ultra Glossy Lips: These are pretty glosses. They aren't anything special but they have a great color selection (like the rest of the Colourpop range) and for the price, I think they are good. Price tag: $6.00

Super Shock Shadows: Okay, so, I half like these. I like the shimmers but don't care for the mattes. The shimmer shades are great to throw on for a quick look. Just use your finger, swipe over your lids and BOOM, you have a pretty eye look. The mattes I just don't find to be anything special. I guess for the price tag you can try them for yourself, that is just my two cents! Price tag: $5.00

Blush: Give these a pass. I don't love them. I find that I can't get much pigmentation out of them and the hybrid cream/powder formula just confuses me! Price tag: $8.00

Highlighters: Here's the deal...I like these when they are applied with fingers. If you pat this product into your skin with fingers I think they can be beautiful. I don't like how they sat on my skin when using a brush. So yes, I like them a lot as long as they are applied with fingers. Price tag: $8.00

That's all I have for you! I have not tried everything from the Colourpop range but hopefully this was enough info to help you make some educated purchases! If you have any other brands you would like me to review just COMMENT BELOW!

XOXO,

Meg
